About us: Camelot Care Center is a skilled pediatric nursing facility located in Logansport, Indiana. Camelot Care Center is seeking a compassionate Central Supply Coordinator to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role: Camelot Care Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator to-
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for medical, respiratory, and nursing supplies
- Monitor par levels and ensure availability of critical respiratory items (e.g., trach supplies, vent circuits, suction equipment)
- Order supplies through approved vendors and manage backorders or substitutions
- Track supply usage trends and adjust ordering based on resident acuity and census changes
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies in compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and infection control standards
- Coordinate maintenance, tracking, and availability of respiratory and medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, oxygen concentrators, suction machines)
- Respond to urgent supply needs to support uninterrupted resident care
- Maintain documentation and records related to inventory, ordering, and equipment tracking
- Communicate consistently with nursing, respiratory therapy, and administration regarding supply needs and issues
About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
- High school graduate or its equivalent.
- Experienced with computers and Microsoft Office programs (excel and word).
- General office equipment knowledge
- Proficient use of written and verbal English
- Positive, outgoing personality, must enjoy interaction
