About the Role: Magnolia Health Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to-
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and code invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Schedule and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve vendor issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare reports and summaries as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- High level of integrity and reliability
